Join your Women Leading Government colleagues from around the state for the Third Annual WLG Conference. This is a can’t miss event for women interested in advancing their careers and building their management and leadership skills.

Women in Leadership - panel discussion (speakers to be announced)
Networking - brief group activity
Concurrent breakout sessions:
1. Art of Delegation - learn more about this skill which often requires practice and dedication
2. First Time Managers - a panel discussion on what happens when you become a town manager or department head and what the transition will be like
Lunch
Polishing Your Public Persona - a 90 minute interactive session focusing on YOU and how you present yourself professionally. There will be guidance on making public presentations both in person and virtually, using software, online tools and public speaking
More Networking
The cost of this full day conference is $55. This includes lunch and a light breakfast.
WLG events are open to all staff in appointed positions in local government. Women are invited and encouraged to attend.
The MMA is advising in-person meeting attendees to keep up with the latest COVID vaccines for which they are eligible. We highly recommend that attendees take an at-home rapid antigen test prior to attending, and not attend if they have any COVID symptoms or if a household member has tested positive for COVID. These protocols are subject to change based on the latest public health data and guidance.
Cancellation Deadline
The non-COVID related cancellation deadline is February 23. To cancel your registration, please send an email to [email protected]. After February 23, refunds will only be considered for COVID related cancellations.
