MMHR 2020 March Meeting - Westford
Diversity, equity and inclusion in recruitment and hiring will be the topic of the Massachusetts Municipal Human Resources association’s program meeting on March 5 in Westford. Cally Ritter, LICSW, principal at Positive Ripple Training & Consulting, will lead participants in an interactive training on strategies for ensuring an equitable and inclusive hiring process. The session will feature a discussion on unconscious bias and the role it can play in recruitment. Registration and networking will begin at 8:15 a.m. The program will start at 9 a.m. and conclude at 1 p.m. with lunch. The meeting will include a legislative update by MMA Senior Legislative Analyst Lisa Adams and an update on Association business. The registration fee is $40 for members and $55 for nonmembers. All requests for cancellation must be received by email by Thursday, February 27th in order to receive a refund.
