MMHR Labor Relations Seminar, Devens
MMHR to hold annual Labor Relations Seminar Nov. 1 The Massachusetts Municipal Human Resources association will hold its annual Labor Relations Seminar on Nov. 1 at the Devens Conference Center. In addition to a keynote presentation and a labor law update, the seminar will feature three concurrent workshops, on mastering municipal HR, JLMC 101, and the do's and don'ts of due process and negotiations. The meeting will begin with a legislative update from MMA Senior Legislative Analyst Lisa Adams, followed by the presentation of the Emil Skop Award, which recognizes a human resources professional who has made a positive impact on the MMA and its members. Seminar participants will include members of the MMHR and Massachusetts Municipal Management Association as well as, police and fire chiefs, public works directors, labor relations professionals, and other interested parties. The seminar will be held from 8:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. An agenda and registration form will be sent to members this fall.
