The Boot Camp for new or aspiring administrators is a nuts and bolts session. Topics include general municipal management, department head relations, finance and breaking into the business. Boot camp was established primarily for new managers who were seeking help since they had just been appointed in the position. This is a training session for developing survival skills and tools that will help with success. In addition, we welcome assistant managers and department heads or senior personnel that seek to become managers in the future. This is not a training session for line personnel. This meeting is free, but registration is required. The deadline to register is Oct. 5.
