MMMA Women Leading Government Meeting- Acton

Women Leading the Way. This remarkable panel of women has careers that span decades and a variety of experiences (one additional speaker will join the panel). They will share their personal and professional journeys, how being a woman impacted this, the obstacles they encountered along the way, and the lessons they’ve learned. Judge Janet McGuiggan is a district court judge for the Worcester District Court. She previously served as the deputy city solicitor in Worcester. Rena Mirkin spent 11 years as a principal at Wellesley High School before serving as principal of Western Academy of Beijing. We will begin the day with a fun and informal networking session, followed by the book/podcast/blog/TED Talks discussion for this month’s selection: Gretchen Rubin’s book “Better Than Before.” The focus is 21 days to change habits. Click here to link to her website. If you don’t have time to read the book, listen to a podcast or read her blog. *Parking: Park in the town hall parking lot and you may also park along all of the side streets around town hall.  If possible, please carpool, parking is limited.
